With the latest CPI of Transparency International, Nepal ranks 119 deeply engulfed by systematic, political and petty corruptions. It’s definitely not a good remark and is affecting almost all the walks of life morally and economically. Corruption has been an open secret in our Nepalese society concerning every type from political, systematic and petty.
Most of the common people have normal life standard and they think that corruption is done only by high level politicians, businessmen, government officials and power brokers as embezzlement, scam and collusion. They blame such high level people for destroying the future of the country by being corrupt. While on the other hand, they are themselves being involved in petty corruption in their daily lives to speed up and easy their daily needs and works as Gifts, Bribery and Nepotism. Some of them are aware of it but they really pay no heed to while some people have accepted it as social norms and some are ignorant that such behaviors are even termed corruption.
Goal : Aware citizen and initiate private actions that will reduce corruption, and encourage accountability
